Feathergun is a melodic rock band. Blending elements from classic rock and previous jobs, these gentlemen have left their respective cubicles to serve up a tasty helping of hooks. Armed with singer/songwriter/guitarist Sam Lewis' undeniably accessible songcraft and bitter to sweet serenades, Chicago based Feathergun thrusts forward with a sonic assault of melodic goodness that lusts for rock stardom.

Combining a love for guitar pop with crunching power chords and tongues planted firmly in cheek, Feathergun provides you with the necessary links between '60s pop, 70's rock, 80's groove and 90's grunge, with shades of heavy metal and touches of punk thrown in for good measure. Feathergun introduces the terms 'Cubicle Rock' and 'Power Point Pop' to describe its unique sound, inspired by days spent working in the corporate world. This is arena rock pumping on through your cubicle stereos.

Think Cheap Trick, the Who, Elvis Costello, Fountains of Wayne, Green Day, Urge Overkill and the Beatles. Then throw the occasional Lenny Kravitz and Maroon5 brand groove rock into the mix for good measure and you will start to understand the high standard for song perfection delivered here, both in the studio and on the stage.

Lewis, a Chicago native, moved to Los Angeles with a pocket full of sugar sweet pop numbers and a pair of used beach sandals. After releasing Music To Wash To on Soundwidth Records in 2003 and touring in support of the album, Feathergun became known around LA as one of the hardest working self promoted bands. Following the wave of West Coast success, Lewis relocated to Chicago to electrify clubs and coffee shops around his hometown with the help of friends Kevin Becker, Rick Lyons and Miroslav.

From the ashes of Loosends and god's green earth comes Feathergun, set to tear down your cublicle walls and soothe your soul with rock & roll!

Press:

"Without a doubt, one of the most rewarding (live) shows in LA…this is one (band) that you better pay attention to"
Jenn Cassie, LAmusicscene.com

"Lewis and company give you songs that stand up to repeated listens with the kind of real tight guitar/rock sounds not often heard these days (and perfect for summer)."
Gary Glauber, PopMatters.com / Fufkin.com

"This is our kind of churning, riff-heavy, highly charged power pop that reminds us many faves including Fuzzbubble, Lenny Kravitz, Queen, Brendan Benson and Foo Fighters. It's raucous, funky, but still very much purely rocking pop."
Bruce Brodeen, Not Lame

"Here's a band that have the harder side of pop music down to a 'T' and they don't seem to mind being rock stars on stage!"
David Bash, Amplifier Magazine / International Pop Overthrow
